Submitting beta Android app?

Hello. I am working on an Android app that will be in beta at the contest deadline. (After all this work, I want to get a lot of user feedback before launch to the world! :p)

I can allow access to the app from the Play Store for members of a private Google+ community (that's how Google has implemented beta testing). Is this OK? If so, what Google accounts should I invite to the beta tester G+ community?
